Anette Christoffersen is a principal broker with Ruby Peak Realty. Born and raised in Norway, Christoffersen received a degree in marketing from the Norwegian School of Marketing when she met her husband Nils. The couple made their home in Zimbabwe, Africa, for four years, where their two children were born, before moving back to the US and landing in Wallowa County in 1999, when Nils accepted a job at Wallowa Resources.
“It didn’t take us long to fall in love with Wallowa County,” said Christoffersen. “We love the outdoors, and we enjoy being able to hike, bike, ride horses and ski here. But most of all we love the people who live here”.
Christoffersen became a real estate agent in 2005, after working as a marketing consultant for several years. Anette’s background in sales & marketing benefits her clients, whether they are real estate buyer or sellers. “I value relationships, take pride in being direct and honest and strive to maintain a high level of integrity”. Anette will work to reduce the stressful process of buying or selling real estate and make it an enjoyable experience.
Anette lives on a small ranch on Alder Slope in Enterprise with her husband Nils, and two horses, two dogs and two cats. Christoffersen said the best thing about working as a Realtor is the opportunity to meet people. “I have made many friendships that started with looking at homes,” she said. “I enjoy showing the county to people who may be new to the area, and helping locals find that perfect home. When we moved here, I wasn’t sure what kind of working life I might have, but I discovered real estate and it’s been a very rewarding career.”
Anette served as the President of the Wallowa County Board of Realtors in 2008 and 2009. She served as the representative from Wallowa County to the Northeast Oregon Board of Realtors from 2015-2017. Christoffersen is involved with the Eagle Cap Ski Club and heads up their annual Ski Swap fundraiser each year.
In 2006 she received the “Rookie of the Year” award. In 2008 she was awarded “Top Producer” for her firm. In 2017 she was awarded “Realtor of the Year” by her peers in the Northeast Oregon Board of Realtors. The award based on a variety of criteria, including professional accomplishments, continuing professional education and certifications, and community involvement. Christoffersen teaches the real estate section of a free class for first time home buyers offered by Community Connections and is an active member of The Rotary Club of Wallowa County.
With my clients, both sellers and buyers, I value relationships, take pride in being direct and honest and strive to maintain a high level of integrity. With buyers I work hard at helping you identify the right property for you, provide all pertinent information about the property and negotiate the best deal possible. During the transaction I make sure that we work through the due diligence period with constant communication and end up with a successful closing. I work hard to reduce the sometimes stressful process of buying or selling real estate and make it an enjoyable experience.
With my sellers I use my sales & marketing background in representing and promoting your property in its best light. I take great photographs and sometimes will have video taken of the property. I advertise on Zillow and is one of Zillow’s premier agents, bringing in leads from buyers all over the US.
I am looking forward to meeting you and help you with your real estate needs!

What others have to say about Anette;
Buyers
Anette is truly a professional real estate broker; her effective marketing enabled our connection to Wallowa County from more than 1,000 miles away, her demeanor and fairness solved contract issues as they came up, she continually informed us of contract status, and our contract closed as originally scheduled. As real estate investors for more than thirty years, our recent transaction with Anette was the best ever!

Anette Christoffersen was our first contact in Wallowa County, and was a great ambassador for this area. She made our property "shopping" a fun experience, and was game to climb over hill and dale with us to check out all the corners of the rural properties. We were working on this sale from a few states away, but Anette was great at keeping us informed of everything we needed to know in a timely manner.
And, here we are now - totally loving our property!

Sellers
I had my ranch listed with three different realtors over the course of three years prior to listing my property with Anette. Anette was able to sell it fast, she followed through with a quick closing despite the complexity of the transaction and I got close to my asking price. She did a fantastic job marketing my property and attracted a buyer from out of state. Anette was very professional and always available when I needed her.

We listed one of our rental houses with Anette sometime in April. In saying that Anette went way out of her way to accommodate and expedite the sale of our house in a very professional and timely manner.
Anette went beyond the call of duty not only in communication but also in the performance of the sale. If we needed to get anything resolved she was right there to help us with any issues that might have come up at the time. I would recommend her to anybody whether you are buying or selling your real-estate. She was awesome!

Anette is an extremely professional real estate broker who undertook the marketing and sale of our house very capably.
Great marketing skills are combined with an eye for detail and an excellent approach to contracts and negotiation. Our transaction was able to therefore be accomplished with the minimum of ease for both buyer and seller.
